Covert Farms Pinot Blanc

Covert Farms Pinot Blanc 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis Covert Pinot Blanc was planted in 2007 at 415 metres, on glacial-fluvial sedimentary soils just west of McIntrye Bluff. 10 percent of the wine sees time in oak on its lees, while the majority is fermented and aged in stainless steel. I like this tighter style and leaner profile that showcases the site and the fruit, led by fresh cut green apple, ripe pear, and a mix of melon and yellow fruits. A bright citrus line runs across the finish, making it very food-friendly.Tasted: 28 April 2020Tasted by: Prices: BC 23.80 private wine shops Producer: Covert Farms Family EstateDistributors: Winery Direct
