Covert Farms Pinot Blanc 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis organic pinot blanc comes off their higher altitude estate Coyote Block vineyard, and was fermented primarily in stainless, with 10% seeing neutral oak. It remained there on lees until bottling. Quite tropical, led with pineapple, papaya, and fragrant melon, this is obviously not your typical BC pinot blanc. The soft, silken palate finishes with a dusting of ginger spicing. Perhaps the yeast program they use infused a dose of the tropics into this wine.
