Cawston, Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis medium-pale peach rosé was from a small block of cabernet franc in the sloping Pozza Vineyard, a cooler, higher altitude site in Similkameen's Olalla Gap, surrounded by desert scrub. Strawberry, light cherry, raspberry blossom, and desert herbs scratch the sides of this medium-bodied rosé, one with a lactic leesiness coating the palate.
