Treana Blanc 2015
Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo County, Central Coast, California, United StatesUsually, five-year-old white wine can give you pause to reflect before you buy it, but there is no hesitation here. The Treana Blanc is a proven winner and a Hope Family Wines superstar, not to mention that it is consistently one of the best white Rhone-style blends in America. I love the elegance of what is an intense wine, wonderfully sophisticated, yet ultimately gulpable. The nose and palate are exotic, taking you to pineapple, mandarin orange, honeysuckle and guava. but served fresh it’s all in control and even showing a touch of salty minerality and freshness. The texture is velvety. The blend is 45/45/10 viognier, marsanne and roussanne. Perfect with curry, and ready to drink.Tasted: 23 January 2020Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $29.99 | 750ml | private wine stores |
