Treana Blanc 2014
Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo County, Central Coast, California, United StatesCan’t say enough about this wine, and at four years old it is singing. This is one of the best white Rhone-style blends in America. It’s intense but light on its feet, wonderfully complex yet gulpable. Balanced and ready to drink. The nose and palate are all about pineapple, honeysuckle, melon, guava and mandarin orange, but it’s never too much thanks to the underlying minerality and freshness. Impressive texture due to only 25 percent new French oak. The blend is 45/45/10 viognier, marsanne and roussanne. Perfect with a chickpea curry.Tasted: 12 March 2018Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $29.99 | 750ml | private wine stores |
