Russian River, Sonoma County, California, United StatesSome 45% of this Russian River Chardonnay is barrel fermented in 30% French oak and 15% neutral barrels, with the remainder fermented in stainless steel. 75% of the juice goes through malolactic fermentation during the one-year ageing period. The result is a bright, fresh wine with notes of pear, pineapple, and vanilla. The palate is similar with more peach, pear, melon, and mandarin.
