Alella, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainAlta Alella is the closest winery to Barcelona, producing Mediterranean-influenced organic wines. Established in 1991 on the 19th century Can Genís estate, the family winery has always practiced certified organic farming techniques from the outset. This mataró rested on lees for 15-30 months, and was disgorged with no dosage in March 2019. Light cherry, raspberry is seasoned with toast and light spices to a bone dry finish.
