Terrazas de los Andes Malbec Reserva 2016
Mendoza, ArgentinaArgentine wine is continuing to reinvent itself, but this is firmly within the old guard style of malbec. The fruit is overshadowed by assertive oak, with loads of espresso and dark chocolate. Underneath are some jammy black fruits, which are not fully defined. Medium-full bodied, this has Mendoza's characteristic plush texture with good mid-palate weight, which can be a challenge with malbec.
