Le Vieux Pin Équinoxe Chardonnay 2017
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis Équinoxe Chardonnay was sourced from two vineyards on the Naramata Bench, and 25-30 year old vines. This spent 15 months in French puncheons, 90% new, with twice weekly battonage. 53 cases were made. French cream, lemon curd and verbena, with hints of green leaf and ample light gingery toast. The palate is pillowy with lees, while the green spiciness and tart acidity keeps this tight.
