Château de Corcelles Rosé d'une Nuit 2017

Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceThere has been a homestead on the Corcelles estate since the 8-9th century, which underwent its first and main renovation in the 15th century. The Douby River, which flows a few meters from the Château, was the boundary between the the counties of Burgundy and Beaujolais. The Richard family took control of the property in 1984, with the intention of making high quality wine. Today they oversee 92ha under vine. This Beaujolais rosé is, as you'd expect, entirely gamay. Red fruited, with wild raspberry, red currant, strawberry, rhubarb, wild flowers on a juicy, dry palate to a lightly spiced finish. Shining bright, this is a welcome pink to drink year round, especially with food. #GoGamayGo.Tasted: 02 September 2019Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
