Northern Lights Cranberry NV
CanadaIt’s year three for the Cranberry label at Northern Lights Estate Winery, and this wine has my attention. Its more of a holiday release, but get in line to make sure you can order it come the holiday season. Like Beaujolais Nouveau, it’s released in the third week of November. It’s whole berry fermented, and the fruit is supremely pure with a savoury cedar, Christmas tree twist. There is an illusion of sweetness held firmly in check by the cranberry’s innate acidic character.
