Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMarsanne almost always produces a rich, reasonably decadent wine. On the nose, there is orange, dried apricot, sweet white peach, with an undercurrent of lemon, almonds, and vanilla. They have done well to hold the alcohol to 13.6 to keep a sense of freshness in the finish. Still, this is a heavyweight white and is best served chilled and with a favourite creamy recipe. Dried apricot, orange, dried lush florals, ripe white peach fill the full palate, one that rights itself with a snappy finish of almond paste, and vanilla.
