Church and State Marsanne

Church and State Marsanne 2017

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMarsanne almost always produces a rich, reasonably decadent wine. On the nose, there is orange, dried apricot, sweet white peach, with an undercurrent of lemon, almonds, and vanilla. They have done well to hold the alcohol to 13.6 to keep a sense of freshness in the finish. Still, this is a heavyweight white and is best served chilled and with a favourite creamy recipe. A fine addition to the BC repertoire of grapes.Tasted: 12 August 2020Tasted by: Prices: BC 29.99 winery online/direct Producer: Church & State WineryDistributors: Empson Wines Canada
