Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandThe Icon is the flagship of Nobilo Wines, impressively first established in 1943. The fruit comes off three select Marlborough sites: Brooklands, Southern Valleys; Gifford Creek Lane, Rapaura; and Twin Creek, Rapaura. Each block was harvested and fermented separately using a variety of yeasts. The nose and attack is a mix of flint and minerality before the tropical passionfruit kicks in along with guava, citrus and jalapeño.
