Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSpicy ginger seasons this savoury pinot gris, from first sniff through the lingering warming finish. The interior is packed with pear, green apple, nutmeg, and spiced lemongrass, riding along a stony river bed base. From their sandy and silty Kelowna estate, this is clone 52, planted in 2014, whole cluster pressed and fermented plus one additional month on lees. A friendly, hedging serious pinot gris that offers more than the typical BC fruit basket norm. Thankfully.
