CedarCreek Platinum Block 2 Pinot Noir

CedarCreek Platinum Block 2 Pinot Noir 2016

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the lower blocks of their clay-soiled vineyard in Kelowna and 26-year-old vines, 2016 (current release) Block 2 Pinot Noir was native fermented in a mix of concrete and stainless before a one year stint in French oak, and bottling without fining or filtration. Plush and plump on the fuller palate, with dark cocoa, blackberry jam, wild blueberries, scents of vanilla, and ample perfumed dark plum. The clay contributes to the brooding air to this pinot, affording it pairing with duck. Sonoma-esque.Tasted: 25 June 2019Tasted by: Treve RingPrices: BC 0.00 winery direct, VQA wine shops BC 64.00 private wine shops Producer: CedarCreek Estate WineryDistributors: Mark Anthony Wines and Spirits
