Yarra Valley, Victoria, AustraliaFrom the winery's silt stone and clay based home block in Healesville, this was five percent whole bunch, native fermented before 11 months in French oak, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Dusky plum, wild cassis, thorns and dried violets dart throughout this fresh, buoyant wine, threaded with fine peppercorns, and bound by fine tannins. There's a lovely earthy forested element to this wine, finishing with a kiss of resin.
