Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaThis is an archetypical Mendoza malbec sourced from vineyards in Lujan de Cuyo, San Carlos, and Medran, and spends nine months in French oak. It shows sweet black fruits and a floral lift alongside a touch of evolution, which I find surprising for a wine of this age. The ripeness of the fruit gives a perception of sweetness to the palate, but it's more medium-bodied than full with moderate concentration.
