Penedès, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainCava Blanca Cusiné is a 50/50 blend of chardonnay and pinot noir where the chardonnay is fermented in stainless steel and the pinot noir in barrel. The colour is medium yellow, and the attack is gentle, sporting rich, creamy textures with oatmeal and almonds signalling a bit of age. The palate is similarly gentle with apples, hazelnuts and cream flecked with orange. A delicious sparkling that is completely ready to drink.
