Blue Grouse Quill Red 2016

British Columbia, CanadaThis is a spicy, medium bodied red, pitch-perfect for fall, with ample cracked pepper and cinnamon, forest berries, moderately smoked cedar, all centring a herbal, medicinal cherry core. Tannins are evident but well tucked into the fruit, propping it up and welcoming pairing with grilled squash, wild mushrooms or pork chops.
