Bench 1775 Semillon 2016
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBlend of Osoyoos (40 percent) and Naramata fruit, and you see it in this semillon, one of the only solo sems in BC. You get a sense of the rich, oily southern Okanagan fruit, with the brighter lemon / citrus lift of mid-valley that lifts the fruit. Snappy, driving acidity, herbal-led, citrus lifted, oily and lengthy, all still so youthful, and with incredible potential for future aging. This, to me, is a shining example of Okanagan sem. Well done Val and team. More of this. Incredible value too.Tasted: 21 October 2018Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $19.00 | 750ml | winery direct |
