Nichol Vineyard Extra Brut Rosé 2016
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPouring the palest blush hue, this new release from Naramata legend Nichol Vineyard takes pinot noir from the highest elevation vineyard on the property, and blends with five percent pinot meunier. Traditional method, this spends seven months on the lees and is zero dosage. This was disgorged on June 21 of this year. Perfumed cordial cherries, raspberry, is kissed with the scent of plum and taut with humming minerality. Bitter orange brightens the finish. Bone dry, unfined, unfiltered, enjoy this lean lens of Naramata as an aperitif.Tasted: 30 July 2018Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $30.00 | 750ml | estimated retail |
