Le Vieux Pin Petit Blanc 2017
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPetit Blanc is a light, fresh, stainless steel, and early to market white, and in 2017 it's a blend of sauvignon blanc, pinot gris, viognier and chardonnay primarily, with some muscat, marsanne and roussanne in the blend for aromatics. The fruit is sourced from Naramata down to Osoyoos Lake, and from 5-30 year old vines. MLF was Juicy pear, melon, apricot, white peach on a plump, lightly spiced palate, buoyed with shining acidity. The finish is snappy, and the palate slender, welcoming most green or roasted salads, or lightly spiced pakoras.Tasted: 03 July 2018Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $18.49 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
