Fontanafredda Solerose 2016

Langhe, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyThis Langhe Rosso pours a deeper cherry hue in the glass, and opens with ginger spicing before launching directly into strawberry jam, cherry and subtle kirsch spicing. Barbera, dolcetto and nebbiolo spent three months on fine lees, in stainless, for a youthful, soft and approachable (safe) rosé. The finish returns to ginger, but with this time spiced gingerale.
