Maule, Valle del Claro, Valle del Maule, Region del Valle Central, ChileFresh peppery, red fruit nose flecked with dried leaves and a swirl of espresso. The attack is dry and linear with spicy menthol, blueberry, cherries and dried herbs with the perfect level of acidity. I like the food-friendly style here in what is a well-made but uncomplicated red you can serve all week long with grilled meats, roasted chicken or a creamy cheese.
