Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMerlot suits the hedonistic Ex Nihilo style, where subtlety is not yet the rule. This is a full bodied, dense merlot from their sun-drenched Oliver vineyard, aged 18 months in young French oak barrels. Potent medicinal cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry jam is warmed with heat (15 percent alcohol) and housed with rich wood spices through a bitter espresso finish.
