Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRiver Stone is a small estate winery operating south of McIntyre Bluff in the south Okanagan Valley. In 2013 Corner Stone stands out as one of the richest red blends in the province. Look for plenty of perfumed black fruit scents and pepper on the nose of this 47/21/21/7/4/ mix of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, malbec and petit verdot. This leads to a similar boisterous palate of chewy black fruits with mostly small-grained tannins and a touch of toasted oak.
