Oliver Twist Estate Malbec Proprietor's Reserve 2013
CanadaThere’s not a lot of malbec in BC and this label illustrates some of the difficulties. The nose is slightly reductive but when it clears off (splash decant for best effect) there are floral, plummy, savoury notes lurking. The palate is similar with confected black fruit and brown spice flavours.
