Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe brand new organic Liber Farm & Winery in the Similkameen sources fruit from Oliver for this wine, a blend of sauvignon blanc and semillon (the latter is some of the valley's oldest sem vines). This medium bodied wine shows much more of the punchy savvy passionfruit, with pink grapefruit, brisk acidity, apricot, bracketed and striated by time in new French oak. A slick on the palate tips to semillon, and tarragon and big spicing on the finish tells of time in wood.
