Haywire White Label Pinot Noir Secrest Mountain Vineyard 2015

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the Wise brothers' Secrest Mountain Vineyard north of Oliver, this was wild fermented and aged in concrete for 11 months. A trace reduced upon opening but ripe and sun-filled and flush with raspberry, cherry, plum fruits with a juicy swell of acidity, all bracketed by cedar and spice. Almost quaffable (there are a few grippy tannins in the backend), this is a youthful and approachable pinot that typifies the New Okanagan. Roast chicken or grilled salmon would be the match.Tasted: 22 August 2017Tasted by: Treve Ring & Anthony GismondiPrices:
