Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canadapear oil, pear blossom, tight and lean, but with a core of sweet orchard fruit, this is much better named "off-dry riesling".Tasted: 13 October 2017Tasted by: Prices:
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA slight change this year in the fruit mix has turbo charged this riesling, giving it a legitimate edge. The fruit is harvested selectively using a combination of early and late picks from both East and West Kelowna vineyard sites. The early fruit adds acidity and freshness; the second round adds deeper tones and orange. Expect a fresh, green, lime/apple affair lined with orange flecks and a dry, mineral bite in the back. Clean as a whistle and made for crab cakes, veal picatta, pork belly and most summer salads. A pitch perfect riesling given its stellar price.Tasted: 04 July 2017Tasted by: Prices:
