Quails' Gate Dry Riesling 2015

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCrisp, dry and mouthwatering the fruit is all West Kelowna estate and the vines are now over 30 years. This wine has consistently aged well tempering the acidity that dominates early. There is just under seven percent residual sugar here that is more than balanced off by the acidity. The nose is floral with bits of pear, limes and orchard stone fruit that follow through on the palate. At the moment the wine is on the light side but it should put on some weight in the bottle. The winery suggests tuna tartare or Vietnamese salad rolls as a match and you can add pork belly to that. Good value.Tasted: 19 October 2016Tasted by: Prices:
