Longview Devil's Elbow Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Adelaide Hills, Mount Lofty Ranges, Adelaide, South Australia, AustraliaThe fruit is all Adelaide Hills and in 2014 it is very pure. The ferment is warm and short at 7 days before the wine heads to barrel (old and new French barriques) for 24 months. The nose is ripe and inviting with classic cassis, menthol and savoury black cherries. Love the balance here, with toasted notes running through the lively black fruit, and refreshing but not overbearing acidity. Drink now with grilled beef or hold through 2020. Nice improvement.Tasted: 31 July 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
