Mission Hill Perpetua Chardonnay Osoyoos Vineyard Estate 2013

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLoving the 2013, the warmest vintage since 2003, that cooled off just in time for harvest and allowed Perpetua to maintain its cool/chiseled floral, mineral style but with slightly more intense flavours. The wine comes off three individual blocks of Dijon clones inside the eastern Osoyoos vineyard estate. There is limited skin contact before a select portion is fermented in new French oak and aged sur lie for nine months with gentle hand-stirring every two weeks. The usual bright acidity seems even better suited under the richer pear, citrus lime and spice. You could age this two to four years or serve it now with your favourite seafoodTasted: 12 June 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
