Haywire Gamay Noir Rosé Secrest Mountain Vineyard 2016

Summerland, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Secrest Mountain Vineyard, a higher altitude, limestone laced site bench site outside of Oliver farmed by the Wise Brothers. After the gamay is destemmed, it spends twelve hours on the skin before being pressed into concrete for wild yeast ferment and a six month stint. Youthful strawberry is scented with rhubarb, Anjou pear and mandarin, and lined with a cushion of slick lees before a snappy, stony finish. Well built; this will build more complexity with some age.Tasted: 21 June 2017Tasted by: Prices:
