Jason Parkes Customs Flipping the Bird Pinot Noir Rosé 2015

British Columbia, CanadaIf the label doesn't catch your attention (it's an upside-down parrot on a flower), the name might. Flipping the Bird Pinot Noir Rosé was made for Parrot Island, a non-profit sanctuary for abandoned and abused exotic birds in Peachland, BC. Partial proceeds from this wine goes towards the facility, founded by The Hatch partner Jason Parkes' parents. Medium pink hue, with juicy, off-dry and bold cherry and raspberry backed up with a rush of sweet strawberry candies. This pinot noir is grown in Grand Forks and made in very limited quantities, so if you want to taste this rare bird, grab it when you see it.Tasted: 30 January 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
