Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandBig, expressive and ripe, with smoked lemon pith and lemon curd brightening a round clove-scented sweet corn and popcorn toasted palate. The heft is veined with stony mineral and tangerine pithiness. Twenty-five percent new oak is used here, though it is handled very well and marries into the dense fruit.
