Five Vineyards by Mission Hill Pinot Noir 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaJust released and showing a bit tight under screw cap so be sure to splash decant your bottle for best results. The ’14 shows a little more fruit but this wine has always been about forest floor, spice and earthy elements, and that style remains. Stewed cherry, juicy red currants, stewed raspberry fills the spicy palate. More or less ready to drink out of the gate. Try this with roast chicken. Simple, good value but probably not what the $18 punter is looking for in pinot noir.Tasted: 15 December 2016Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Treve RingPrices:
