Chateau Canada 2012

Bordeaux, FranceChateau Canada has been making wine for 114 years on about 6 hectares of gently rolling vineyard in Cubzac-les-Ponts, 15 kilometres north of Bordeaux. The site is a mix of clay, chalk and gravel soils, the vines are on average 25 years old and the blend is 70/30 merlot / cabernet sauvignon. The 2012 is a winner. It’s always had structure but this year there is delicious, juicy red fruit with a touch of flesh, cedar and tobacco. Try this with a grilled steak for best results. Excellent value and authentic.Tasted: 23 December 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
