Chaberton Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

British Columbia, CanadaA cool climate rendition of cabernet from the Oliver, Cawston and Naramata growing regions in the southern Okanagan that is aged 19 months in new French and American oak barrels. The fruit is persistently aromatic with plenty of spice and stony floral undertones. The acidity is fresh, even mouth-watering, the entry skinny and spicy with dried raisins, black cherries, branches and more elevated acidity in the finish. Best now with beef or game dishes or cellar a few years, but the fruit may not be there in the end.Tasted: 09 December 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
