Averill Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir 2012
Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaProof that the fringe Wine Islands weather can make a high quality red. This is a silky, medium bodied pinot noir, with dark cherry and wild raspberry, finely stencilled with lightly grippy tannins. Cloves and cinnamon season the palate, while a gentle and lifted acidity carries it. Serious stuff.Tasted: 15 December 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $22.00 | 750ml | private wine stores, winery direct |
