Alentejo, Central and Southern Portugal, PortugalRipe red berries, dark plum, branch and cured salami fill this juicy and fresh red from Alentejo. Moreto, castelão and trincadeira, averaging ten years old, spent four months in stainless to preserve the youthful buoyancy. Anise and a wave of resin enter in the medium bodied palate, one kept fresh with a black currant tartness and supported with smoothed, slightly powdery tannins to a short finish.
