Swartland, Coastal Region, South AfricaThis friendly wine is a value gem, even with our insane tax machine. Harvested from Swartland blocks both irrigated and dry farmed, and from vines of 20 to 40 years, old this underwent partial wild ferment. Juicy and fresh, with lightly herbal lees, citrus and bright pear, and a light lick of chenin cream on the finely textured palate. Ten percent chardonnay in the blend.
