Swartland, Coastal Region, South AfricaRe-tasted this week and as you might expect this wine is improving in the bottle. Still fresh and full of quince and pear aromas and flavours it has put on a bit of weight and texture as chenin can and its actually more complex. Wild herbs and yellow apples dominate the warm finish. Try with chicken or pork to best effect. Good value.Tasted: 23 June 2017Tasted by: Prices:

Swartland, Coastal Region, South AfricaLovely quince, cream and pear aromas lead this Swartland chenin blanc. Wild herbs, pear blossoms, bitter pear skin and yellow apple take over the palate, kissed by honeyed sweetness and finishing with a powdery, talc note and texture. A little heat on the end - try with poached poultry or pork roulade.Tasted: 07 August 2015Tasted by: Prices:
