Domaine Queylus Tradition Chardonnay 2013

Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaOne of the memorable wines tasted at Vancouver Wine Fest 2017. Tight pear, yellow apple, salted hazelnut is streamlined and framed by a stony minerality, based with a clay-anchored cushion of earthy lees. Tangerine blossoms scent throughout and linger on the finish. Finessed and polished. Organically grown, this was whole cluster pressed before a long wild ferment in French oak (20 percent new) and 16-20 months aging stint.Tasted: 23 February 2017Tasted by: Prices: ON 24.75 winery direct Producer: Domaine QueylusGrape: Chardonnay
