Blue Grouse Cowichan Station Pinot Gris 2015

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaThe only vines at Cowichan Valley's Blue Grouse not on rootstock are the pinot gris. The nose is fresh and crisp with beautiful pear notes and just a hint of weightier yellow fruits. Some 15 percent barrel fermented juice adds a little mid-palate creamy weight and complexity. The attack is super fresh and citrus lined, with honeysuckle and melon fruit flavours. Impressive style and a hallmark for Vancouver Island.Tasted: 27 October 2016Tasted by: Prices:
