Altesino Rosso di Montalcino 2013
Tuscany, ItalyThe first duty of a Rosso di Montalcino is to be drinkable. Altesino gets that, and more, on the nose and palate with a purity of fruit and a strong undercurrent of acid to keep it all fresh and mouthwatering. Look for bright red fruits with a hint of savoury, cedar and tobacco in the background. A great food wine for raw beef or mushroom risotto.Tasted: 15 July 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $26.99 | 750ml | BCLS |
