West Auckland, Auckland, North Island, New ZealandFull and rich in Auckland's typical weightier style, this was pressed into stainless steel tanks to preserve as much crisp fruit as possible, before a fermentation into new and seasoned French oak barriques and ample battonage prior to a dip back into stainless prior to bottling. Cream, eraser and stone rule, with a sweet pea / sweet pear base and a tight tingle of lemon peel acidity to cut through the wood and spiced toastiness.
