Stoneboat Stone'd Red 2013
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaStone’d Red is a 58/42 mix of pinotage and pinot noir aged some 13 months in 10 percent new French and American oak barrels. The fruit comes off two estate vineyards on the Oliver, Black Sage Gravelbar; the Home Vineyard: 35% and Orchard Grove Vineyard 65%. Pleasantly clean and fragrant on the nose, the pinotage and pinot noir mesh seamlessly mixing a plummy, juicy red fruit with earthy undertones. Soft, ready-to-drink red with a hint of minerality.
