Noble Ridge Reserve Chardonnay 2012
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLess butterscotch this year, yeah, and more tropical pineapple, mango citrus aromas and flavours. There is more acidity also which helps to handle the toasted oak flecks. It’s not Burgundy but its heading in the right direction. The wine ages 14 months in French & American barrels 50/50 French/American and 25 percent is new. It’s 100 percent Okanagan Falls fruit from the home vineyard. citrus aromas. Fresh, elegant, slightly lean palate with some oiliness. The winery suggests serving this with pan-fried salmon cakes or curried chicken. I like it with pumpkin ravioli too.Tasted: 16 June 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $29.90 | 750ml | winery direct |
